I, Melva Haggar Dye, am a free-lance writer of both fiction and nonfiction. My articles have appeared in numerous publications including Chicken Soup for the Unsinkable Soul. Over the Devil’s Back is my second novel, the first being All That Remains. After living many years in Houston, Texas, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I returned to my native Western North Carolina. I currently live in Lake Lure, NC, and enjoy gardening as well as writing.
